TMB
On 22 August 2008, TMB ceased to accept new business applications. As a responsible
lender we are directing customers to contact an IFA to assist them with their request
to increase borrowing/change rate/move home/take out a new mortgage. If you wish
to submit an application to BM Solutions, all applications will need to be submitted
as a new/remortgage via our online system.
What do I do if I have an existing TMB customer who would like a further advance/product
transfer?
TMB no longer offers further advances/product transfers. You will be able to contact
BM Solutions to discuss a remortgage for your client. Please contact 08457 253 253
for further information or to discuss your clients requirements.
Will BM Solutions pay a procuration fee for re-mortgaging my client with them?
Subject to approval of the application, BM Solutions will pay a procuration fee
to the intermediary on completion of the loan. You will need to register with BM
Solutions to be able to submit business if you aren't currently registered with
them.
If my client does not want to remortgage with BM Solutions what will happen?
If your client looks to take a mortgage product from another mortgage lender, then
depending on the terms and conditions of their product your client maybe subject
to Early Repayment Charges. Please check with your client to confirm details of
their current mortgage.
What do I do if I have an existing TMB customer who wishes to move home?
If you have an existing TMB customer who wishes to move home and take out a new
mortgage with BM, we may be able to waive Early Repayment Charges subject to your
client meeting our criteria. Customers can choose from any of our new business products.
Existing TMB Self cert and mainstream customers can also choose from products marked
'TMB porting only' found in the mainstream product transfer product section.
Please contact us on 08457 253 253 to speak to an agent who can give you more information.
