Five star success

All four HBOS intermediary mortgage brands have received the prestigious 'five star service' award at the Financial Adviser awards.

It is the second year running in which all HBOS intermediary mortgage brands - Bank of Scotland, Halifax, BM Solutions and IF (Intelligent Finance) - have been awarded five stars.

The awards are based on feedback given by mortgage brokers and independent financial advisers on the service they receive from mortgage providers. HBOS was also named 'company of the year' - the first time in the history of the awards that a mortgage provider has won this accolade.

Nigel Stockton, managing director HBOS intermediaries, commented, "To be the first and only mortgage provider to win 'company of the year' and win five stars for service across the HBOS intermediary brands is a fantastic achievement."
