4th May 2018

On Friday 25th May 2018, new European Union legislation called General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect, strengthening an individual’s rights to know and control what happens to their personal data.

In preparation for this new regulation, on Sunday 6th May 2018 the Privacy Notice, which explains how we use your personal information, will be updated to ensure the content is compliant.

This includes a clear statement about our contact with you and how we notify you about our products and services. We will send you important communications including rate changes, offers or when our lending policy changes which you may need to consider when reviewing our BM Solutions products for your clients.

We have also reviewed the Website Terms and Conditions which you agreed to when you registered with us. These will be updated to ensure the content continues to be compliant and aligns to the relationship we have with you. The key change is the removal of section 6 – ‘Data Use’ as this will now be covered in the updated Privacy Notice.

Please ensure you review the changes to the Privacy Notice and Website Terms and Conditions.

If you have any questions, please contact your Business Development Manager.
