Lower rates for energy-efficient homes

Customers purchasing or remortgaging a buy-to-let or let-to-buy property with an A, B or C Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating could be entitled to a lower rate on fixed-term mortgages.

Mortgage offer and exclusions

  • Available to customers purchasing or remortgaging a property with an A, B or C Energy Performance Rating.
  • Maximum loan amount of £2,000,000 up to 65% LTV for properties with an A, B or C Energy Performance Rating.
  • Brokers must validate evidence of an A, B or C Energy Efficiency Rating as part of the application process via either:

    • A valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) showing on the EPC register, or a paper certificate.
    • Or a Predicted Energy Assessment (PEA) for New Build properties currently in development.
  • The certificate can be printed or saved and you must retain a copy on your file, as we may request this at a later point.
  • These products will be labelled 'A-C EPC' on broker sourcing systems and can be identified by a GR product code.
  • Offer can be withdrawn at any time.
